This Privacy Policy describes how DocRapid Scanner ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

DocRapid Scanner is designed with privacy in mind. Here is what the App accesses:

• Camera – used solely to capture documents for scanning. Images are processed on-device and are never transmitted to our servers.
• Photo Library – used to import existing photos for scanning and, optionally, to save processed documents. Photos are processed on-device only.
• Subscription data – when you purchase a subscription, Apple handles the transaction. We receive only a confirmation token from Apple (no payment card details).

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• The content of your scanned documents
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data

2. How We Use Your Information

All document scanning and processing happens entirely on your device. No document images or content leave your iPhone. Subscription status is validated locally via Apple's StoreKit framework.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) to process subscription payments. Apple's own Privacy Policy governs that transaction. We do not integrate any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or other third-party data services.

4. Data Storage & Security

Documents you scan are saved only in your device's local storage or, if you choose to export them, to a destination you select (Files app, email, etc.). We have no access to this data. We recommend you protect your device with a passcode or Face ID.

5. Children's Privacy

DocRapid Scanner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions about your privacy rights, please contact us.
